San Diego Casino Reviews is your guide to Indian Casinos in San Diego County
Small, friendly casino has the atmosphere of a neighborhood bar. It's the last of the small Indian Casinos in
North San Diego County but that will change since Foxwood plans to build a new casino and hotel here!
The Parrot Bar offers a special menu of "shaken" cocktails to go with the fabulous Video Poker available here!
This is the only video poker bar (other than the smaller TripleBar at Pauma) where you can play Nickel Video
Poker and Keno. Nickel and Dime Jacks or Better pays 8/5, quarter, Fifty Cent and Dollar Jacks or Better pays
SLOTS: Slots...all kinds, from a penny to a dollar, including a group of Nickel and Ten cent machines with a
97.4% return! You'll find Cleopatra Keno and Power Keno Slots at the Parrot Bar for a Nickel.
TABLE GAMES: Although this is a small casino, they offer a nice variety of table games such as Mini-
Baccarat, Pai Gow, 3-Card Poker and 4-Card Poker. They also offer live Craps and $1 Roulette---California
Indian Casino style (with cards).
BLACKJACK: You can find $5 tables here, including a "Wheel of Madness" table where, for a side bet of $1,
you spin the wheel if you get Blackjack for a bonus payoff of $10 to $1000. Pauma also deals a double-deck
game for $10.
LIVE POKER: Pauma has a small Live Poker area which opens at 2 pm every day. They offer a Bad Beat
Jackpot and it can pay off at huge amounts.
ENTERTAINMENT: Catch live, local entertainment in the Red Parrot Lounge Tuesday through Sunday
evenings with dancing Monday through Fridays. DJ Bob is Casino Pauma’s resident DJ and host for the fun
drawings and games such as Name That Tune, Trivia Nights and Impersonate That Singer.
PAUMA'S FREE PLAY: Pauma has a cool on-line practice site where you can play free online games. Play as
a Guest (without signup) or use your Palm Card. Free games include Slingo, Casino Table Games -- Blackjack,
Craps, Pai Gow, -- Slots, Video Poker, Texas Hold-em, Puzzles and Quick Play.
I wish they could just improve the quality of the buffet---just a bit, please. It's cheap, though, which is some
consolation and Pauma also offers a $2.95 buffet for seniors (with a Players Club card) from 1pm to 4pm daily.
|Pauma Casino is located off Highway 15, about 10 minutes further up Highway 76 than Pala Casino. It's off the beaten path but the drive is pretty.
Rumor is that Foxwoods is going to build a huge casino resort here in the future. Check out Pauma's website for free casino games. There was
some controversy in Pauma's offering the free online games, but that's probably typical in dealing with the State of California.
